The Marketing & Products Leadership Programme

Our work extends into just about every area of Barclays RBB, so your rotations will expose you to an exciting array of marketing and product development opportunities across the business. You’ll learn how concepts become reality, using research and development and customer feedback to design and refine your ideas. You’ll monitor the performance of newly launched products and campaigns, taking every opportunity to improve things as you go. And you’ll learn to see the bigger picture too, discovering how marketing influences our sales process and broader business strategies.

The course of the two-year programme could see you:

  • Managing through-the-line marketing campaigns to support the launch of new services for customers
  • Helping our business leaders communicate their message to our colleagues
  • Planning and executing marketing strategies for the coming year
  • Working on innovations to drive a business forwards

All of this will see you developing an astonishing breadth of expertise as you learn directly from senior business leaders and innovators throughout Barclays and beyond. The list of specific skills you’ll develop is as long as it is varied, taking in consultancy, project management, product development, marketing tools and techniques, budget control, commercial and technical analysis, presentations, negotiations and last but not least, leadership.

Achieving the qualification will equip you with a vital wealth of technical knowledge to go with the practical expertise you gain during your placements.
