Assessment Tips
To help you prepare for the fast approaching assessment day, we’re giving you a sneaky peak behind-the-scenes.
On the day, you can expect to meet several assessors who work across Barclays. After an initial welcome, you’ll complete an interview, a presentation, a written case study, a group exercise and ability tests. Each of these activities will allow you to demonstrate different skills – all of which we’ll be assessing. Once you’ve finished and headed home we’ll share notes and discuss how you performed – something you can see more of here.
The videos below show how our assessors evaluate candidates in each exercise and how they then collaboratively reach a decision. You might find it helpful to jot down a few notes while you watch – that way you’ll be left with a list of key Do’s (and Don’ts) to think about as you prepare.
